This accessibility statement applies to www.cosonas.com. We want this website to be accessible to as many people as possible.

HOW ACCESSIBLE THIS WEBSITE IS

We know that some parts of this website are not fully accessible, such as (but not limited to):

  • There are issues with colour contrast in some sections.
  • Not all content is accessible via a screen reader or via keyboard.

READABILITY

To change all the fonts within the website to the default system font, the font set on your current operating system, enable the option below.

Cosonas LTD is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with the Public sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

COMPLIANCE STATUS AND NON-ACCESSIBLE CONTENT

We will be testing our new website against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA standard.

Our current website is not compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard. The non-compliances include, but are not limited to:

  • WCAG 1.4.3 Contrast (minimum)
    Some text on the Careers page, navigation bar, and blog posts does not meet the contrast level requirements required to meet this success criterion.
  • WCAG 4.1.2 Name, Role Value
    Across the site, there are instances where the HTML has not been formatted to meet the requirements set out in this success criterion.
NON-COMPLIANCE WITH THE ACCESSIBILITY REGULATIONS

We recognise that the accessibility measures put in place on this website do not benefit all users. The accessibility issues on this website will be addressed when we launch our new website later in 2024. The new website will be WCAG 2.2 AA compliant.

CONTENT THAT’S NOT WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE ACCESSIBILITY REGULATIONS
  • PDFs and other documents
    The accessibility regulations do not require us to fix PDFs or other documents published before 23 September 2018 if they’re not essential to providing our services. Any new PDFs or Word documents we publish will meet accessibility standards.
  • Live video
    We do not plan to add captions to live video streams because live video is exempt from meeting the accessibility regulations.

WHAT WE’RE DOING TO IMPROVE ACCESSIBILITY

We are working on an accessibility roadmap for our new website and will publish it once it is finalised.
